Just in case you missed my IG post, we are expecting in early 2025!

I had been really quiet on social media throughout most of the summer. In all honestly, my whole business came to a pretty intense pause when I took a test a few months ago that I completely expected to be negative.

In fact I took the test and it looked negative. I left to go to pilates and came home to a decently obvious positive, which lead to like 8 other tests over the span of a week. But Praise God with the move to idaho and whatnot, this summer was actually a pretty slow time for me, which I’m super grateful for now since it didn’t poorly effect any clients.

Don’t get me wrong, this pregnancy is a blessing and we are beyond excited to welcome this new little life into our lives, but this didn’t necessarily go to *my* plan. Brandon and I did want to start trying soon, so really this is only a surprise by a couple months, but it was still a surprise.

And as always The Lord’s timing is the best and I’m happy things didn’t go according to my plan. We are expecting a baby girl, due the same day our first was, who is now with Jesus. It feels like a wink from God, or a nudge that He’s there and He remembers.

Annnnddd on a lighter note; this timing is better than if we were to get pregannt when we were planning on trying bc this way I won’t be missing wedding season in 2025.

So why did I drop off the face of the earth for like two months? I was stupidddd sick. I’ll spare you the details, but I spent pretty much most of June and July rotting on the couch. Good news though; I have medication now and I am MUCH better, so I’m very happy to say that I’m back!

Now that I have shared the news, lets talk availability. Although I am back for now, I will be out again soon-ish for maternity leave.

As of now this is my plan for maternity leave: November 2024 – March 2025 I wont be booking any weddings. I am accepting family and couples sessions in the month of November, and depending on how I am feeling I may book a couple sessions in March too, but I will completely be taking no weddings December 2024-March 2025. I am also planning to be completely out of office for a few weeks. That means during that time I will not be responding to any inquiries or emails. I don’t have a specific dates for the weeks I am out of office yet, that will have to do with when the baby is coming. Although she is due at the end of January, I was induced early with Owen and I’m not sure what the medical plan will be for birth with this one yet. I’ll share those dates when I know more though.
